Brexit cost to U.K. aerospace could be significant: report

Brexit could cost the U.K.’s aerospace industry 1.5 billion pounds ($2 billion) because of increased customs checks, Parliament’s Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee warned.

The committee will question industry representatives including Airbus U.K. Vice President Katherine Bennett and ADS Group Inc. Chief Executive Officer Paul Everitt on Tuesday. It received written evidence from leading aerospace companies such as Airbus SE and Boeing Co., expressing their concerns, as well as a submission from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, the committee said in an emailed statement. | READ MORE
